I discovered Doen in 2019 on a trip to Los Angeles. A friend back east had said to visit The Brentwood Country Mart where Doen had just opened its first brick and mortar shop. Upon entering the shop, I was transported to a fictional place in my mind. The styles they create remind me of rolling hills, sun lit trees and gathering wildflowers all the while wearing one of Doen’s billowy floral dresses. This team of women create pieces that are so feminine. Their intricate lace work, use of floral prints and beautifully soft knitwear stand as examples of why my closet is filled with their thoughtful pieces.

I have loved Sea NYC after discovering their shop on Canal Street back when I loved in NYC. This team creates the most thoughtful pieces. They mix modern and classic shapes with vintage touches. And their attention to detail is never missed. From a beautiful ruffle, to a thoughtful knit or a touch of embroidery; each piece feels pretty and feminine... with a touch of edge.
